As part of the government’s ongoing efforts to modernize and digitally re-engineer judicial services, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments has announced the activation of the remote litigation service in major commercial courts and the Court of Urgent Matters.

This marks the first phase of a comprehensive project aimed at improving the efficiency of judicial procedures and providing litigants with flexible, secure access to justice.

The ministry explained that the service allows parties to attend court sessions remotely on an optional basis, offering greater flexibility in choosing how to participate in judicial proceedings.

The system aims to reduce the time and effort required to attend court in person, facilitate case follow-ups from anywhere, and enhance the efficiency of judicial work, accelerating case resolution.
