Bahrain experienced a chilly start on Saturday morning, with low temperatures reported across several weather monitoring stations around the Kingdom at around 6:00 am local time.
According to the readings, the King Fahd Causeway recorded an actual temperature of 11°C, while the felt temperature dropped to 6°C due to wind and weather conditions. At Bahrain International Airport, the temperature stood at 13°C, with a feels-like temperature of 7°C.
In Sitra, the actual temperature was 12°C, with residents experiencing conditions closer to 9°C. Durrat Al Bahrain was among the coldest locations, recording 11°C, but with a felt temperature of just 5°C.
Similar conditions were noted at the University of Bahrain and the Rashid Equestrian & Horse Racing Club, where actual temperatures were 11°C, while the sensed temperatures ranged between 7°C and 8°C.
Authorities advise residents to take precautions during the early morning hours, especially when traveling, as the cold weather continues to affect the Kingdom.
