The event was held as part of ISB’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, commemorating 75 years of excellence in education, cultural harmony and community service in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
H.E. Osama Bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, had inaugurated the fair on the opening day, praising ISB for its contribution to education, social values and the strong ties between the Indian community and Bahrain. He described the school as a model institution that continues to inspire future generations through dedication and meaningful service to society.
The second and concluding night witnessed strong participation from students, parents, alumni and members of the wider community. Senior officials, education leaders and ISB management representatives were present, reflecting the significance of the occasion.
Addressing the gathering earlier, ISB Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese said the Platinum Jubilee celebrations marked 75 years of the school’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, cultural unity and social responsibility. He expressed gratitude to the Bahrain leadership, parents and the community for their continued support.
Students captivated the audience with vibrant cultural performances, showcasing the diversity and talent nurtured at ISB. The fair also featured food stalls, games, exhibitions and family-friendly attractions, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the two days.
The closing night was highlighted by an energetic musical concert led by popular playback singer Rupali Jagga, accompanied by Abhishek Soni and their ensemble, which received an enthusiastic response from the crowd.
The event is expected to benefit student welfare initiatives and staff support programmes, reaffirming ISB’s strong commitment to social responsibility. An attractive raffle draw was also announced, with a brand-new MG ZS silver car sponsored by Zayani Motors as the first prize. The raffle draw will be conducted online on January 26, in accordance with ministry guidelines.
