Al Furqan Centre Organizes Blood Donation Drive to Mark the New Year

The Social Welfare Department of the Al Furqan Centre, in collaboration with the Salmaniya Blood Bank, successfully organized a blood donation camp on January 1. The drive, which ran from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM, saw active participation from Al Furqan members, parents of Madrasa students, and representatives from various community organizations. The Al Furqan Centre has established a tradition of hosting regular blood donation drives, specifically held on January 1 and on the occasion of Muharram 1 (the Hijri New Year) each year.
This initiative reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to community service and public health. The event was attended by senior officials from the Al Furqan Centre, alongside representatives from the Friends Social Association, Al Mannai Centre, and the Indian Islahi Centre. Under the guidance of Convener Abdul Salam, a dedicated team of volunteers managed the logistics and operations of the camp, ensuring a smooth experience for all donors.
