Kerala Christian Ecumenical Council Hosts Reception for H.G. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theophilos

The Kerala Christian Ecumenical Council (KCEC) organized a warm reception in Bahrain for H.G. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theophilos, Metropolitan of the Ahmedabad Diocese and Assistant Metropolitan of the Mumbai Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Church.
The event was held under the presidency of KCEC President Rev. Aneesh Samuel John. General Secretary Jomon Malayil George delivered the welcome address, greeting the visiting Metropolitan and the gathered dignitaries.
Several prominent clergy members attended the ceremony and offered their felicitations, including Vice Presidents Rev. Fr. Jacob Thomas Karaikkal, Rev. Mathews David, and Rev. Fr. Thomaskutty P.N. Their remarks highlighted the Metropolitan’s leadership and his contributions to the spiritual community.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Abin Mathew Oommen. The reception saw a significant turnout, including representatives from various Christian denominations and members of the faithful across Bahrain, reflecting the strong spirit of ecumenical unity in the Kingdom.
