The Muharraq Nights Festival, organised by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) along the 3.5-kilometre Pearling Path, stretching from Bu Mahir Seashore to the Pearl Museum – Siyadi Majlis, successfully concluded its fourth edition.
The festival featured more than 560 activities and over 800 musical performances, attracting visitors from across Bahrain and abroad. The comprehensive cultural programme included artistic activities, exhibitions, tours, and interactive workshops, offering a rich cultural experience for all attendees.
Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BACA, expressed his appreciation for the commendation by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the efforts behind organising the festival.
The programme spanned eight main pillars: art, design, crafts, children’s programmes, food, music, activities, and tours. It also allowed the public to explore the Pearling Path houses and their displays documenting the history of Bahrain’s pearling economy.
The festival showcased a variety of artistic exhibitions, installation projects, visual experiences, photographic displays, and interactive works exploring themes of memory, identity, and movement, with a special focus on the sea as a central element in Muharraq’s history.
These activities were organised in collaboration with local cultural and artistic institutions, including the Shaikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre for Culture and Research, Al Riwaq Art Space, The Art Station, Albareh Art Space, and Art Concept.
