First Sunni Awqaf Scientific Competition Concludes with Award Ceremony
Shaikh Dr. Rashid Mohammed bin Fiteis Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Awqaf Council, honoured the winners of the first Scientific Competition organised by the General Administration of Sunni Awqaf, as part of its efforts to support Islamic knowledge and promote religious awareness in the community.
Shaikh Dr. Al Hajri praised the high academic standard demonstrated by participants in the various competition categories, stressing that the initiative aims to promote moderation and strengthen links with authentic sources of Islamic knowledge from the Holy Quran and the Sunnah.
He noted the strong participation from different segments of society, reflecting growing interest in Islamic learning and the success of the competition in encouraging positive academic engagement.
He also thanked the supporting donor, the organising committee and the judging panels for their efforts, and commended all participants for their dedication.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Shaikh Dr. Al Hajri presented awards to the winners and encouraged them to continue seeking knowledge.
