‘Renewing our commitment for Kingdom’s progress and prosperity’

The Ministry of Oil and Environment held a national ceremony to mark the Kingdom’s National Days and the 26th anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Throne.

The event was attended by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, along with ministry officials and employees, in an atmosphere reflecting pride in the Kingdom’s comprehensive development achievements.

On the occasion, H.E. Dr. bin Daina affirmed that “the comprehensive development renaissance and the qualitative achievements witnessed by the Kingdom across various sectors are the direct result of the wise vision of His Majesty the King and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.”

Opportunity

He added that “these national celebrations represent an important opportunity to renew our commitment to continue working with dedication to achieve further progress and prosperity for the Kingdom.”

Highlighting the significance of national occasions, he said they are “key milestones to reflect on the Kingdom’s achievements in the political, economic, environmental and social fields.”

The Minister stressed that “Bahrain’s progress and distinction are the outcome of conscious strategic planning that has established an integrated development model recognised at both regional and international levels.”

H.E. Dr. bin Daina noted that the oil and environment sectors have recorded notable progress in recent years through innovation and improved efficiency.

He emphasises that “the Kingdom is moving steadily forward in implementing strategic projects aimed at developing sustainable energy sources, optimising the management of national resources and modernising infrastructure, in support of economic growth and sustainability goals.”

Role

The Minister also underscored the vital role played by national institutions and companies in achieving tangible accomplishments in exploration, refining and petrochemicals, as well as in advancing environmental and climate protection initiatives.

He affirmed that “these collective efforts reinforce Bahrain’s position as an advanced development model and reflect our firm determination to work as one team to safeguard national gains and build a more prosperous future.”
