HRH Prince Salman hails Bahrain’s remarkable achievements and citizens’ collective efforts

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, expressed pride in the Kingdm of Bahrain’s distinguished national achievements.

He affirmed that all accomplishments are the result of the collective efforts of Team Bahrain, with citizens united in their dedication to serving the nation.

Marking the Kingdom’s National Days celebrations and the 26th anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s Accession to the Throne, and the accompanying national events, HRH Prince Salman stressed that recent years have witnessed “remarkable national accomplishments,” underpinned by a strong and resilient economy built on sustainable foundations.

Dividends

He affirmed that the dividends of this economic growth will directly benefit citizens, driving constructive economic activity and expanding development opportunities across all sectors.

His Royal Highness affirmed that the Kingdom’s continued progress across all fields is guided by the leadership and vision of HM the King.

He noted that this foresight has laid the foundations for comprehensive development that places citizens at its core.

“Our national achievements stem from the spirit of one team, working together to serve Bahrain and advance its aspirations,” His Royal Highness said, emphasising that the unity and commitment of citizens remain central to achieving national goals.

Growth

Highlighting economic progress, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister stated that “the establishment of a resilient economy on sustainable foundations ensures that growth translates into tangible benefits for citizens,” adding that these gains will stimulate constructive economic activity and create broader opportunities for development.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to continuing to invest in social services in line with Royal Directives, noting that effective and well-targeted support is essential to enhancing quality of life. In this regard, HRH Prince Salman underscored the importance of strengthening social support programmes, particularly those related to electricity and water subsidies for citizens’ first homes, as well as initiatives that support and empower low-income households while preserving the purchasing power of middle-income families.

Public funds

He also stressed the need to safeguard public funds, stating that “efficient and responsible spending is essential to serving the public interest,” and emphasised that social support must be directed to those most in need.

His Royal Highness further highlighted the importance of close cooperation and constructive engagement with the Legislative Authority, alongside the launch of initiatives and programmes that support national development.

He reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to leveraging its achievements to advance progress and prosperity, while strengthening the foundations of sustainable development that fulfil citizens’ aspirations and reinforce the Kingdom’s standing across all sectors.
