Indian School Bahrain Enters Golden Book of Records with Triple World Records

The Indian School, Bahrain (ISB) Junior Wing officially entered the Golden Book of World Records (GBWR) on 15 December 2025, during its grand Bahrain National Day celebrations at the Riffa campus. As part of its Platinum Jubilee year, the school brought the campus alive in a spectacular sea of red and white, with over 3,500 students participating in a massive human formation of the national flag. The celebration culminated in the achievement of three world records in a single day: the largest human depiction of a national flag, the most people saluting the national flag simultaneously, and the most people chanting a slogan in three languages, reflecting the students’ pride, unity, and patriotism.

Slogans raised included Aashath-Al Bahrain (Arabic – Long Live Bahrain), We Love Bahrain, and Humara Bahrain Mahaan, symbolizing unity, national pride, and respect for the Kingdom.

The celebrations were attended by ministry officials and ISB dignitaries, including Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, Hon. Vice-Chairman & Hon. Member – Sports Dr. Mohammed Faizal, Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier, Principal VR Palaniswamy, and Senior School & Academic Administration Vice-Principal G. Satheesh. The world records were officially declared by Dr. Manish Kumar Vishnoei, Asia Head, GBWR. The event highlighted ISB’s commitment to instilling national pride, unity, and respect for Bahrain from an early age, while adding brilliance to the school’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
