The Kingdom of Bahrain continues to advance national initiatives that uphold human rights and strengthen the values of social justice.
This was emphasised by His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Director-General of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing, as the Kingdom marked Human Rights Day.
He underscored that these efforts are rooted in the humanitarian principles established by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and reflect the Royal directives that place the preservation of human dignity at the centre of the national reform and sustainable development project.
Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid highlighted that His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, provides strong and ongoing support to strengthen policies centred on empowering individuals and protecting their rights, as well as developing programmes that contribute to achieving social justice.
This approach is also supported by the attention of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, who supports humanitarian initiatives aimed at strengthening national cohesion.
