Historic Muharraq Comes Alive with Arts and Culture During Festival

Bahrain’s Culture and Antiquities Authority is set to launch the fourth edition of the Muharraq Nights Festival on Monday evening, with activities running from December 1 to 30, 2025. The festival will bring vibrant cultural and artistic life to the Pearling Path in historic Muharraq, showcasing a diverse range of creative and educational experiences that reflect the city’s rich heritage.

The festival attracts visitors from across Bahrain and beyond, offering interactive programs and various activities that coincide with the country’s festive season.

Muharraq Nights Festival is organized in strategic partnership with the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait and the National Bank of Bahrain, alongside gold-tier partners Aluminium Bahrain, Design Creative, GFH Financial Group, Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, and Kuwait Finance House. Silver-tier partners include Bank of Salama, Asian Paints Berger, Batelco Pay Byon, EDB “Ila”, Infracorp, and Khaleeji Bank, highlighting the private sector’s vital role in supporting cultural initiatives and promoting creative work in Bahrain.

The festival is held in collaboration with the Sheikh Ebrahim Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center for Culture and Research, Riwaq Art Space, and other cultural and artistic institutions, as well as public and private sector entrepreneurs.

Muharraq Nights offers a varied program encompassing arts, design, crafts, children’s activities, food, music, tours, and more. Events take place across multiple locations in the heart of Muharraq, creating immersive experiences that blend history and modernity while offering visitors explorative routes that align with the city’s identity and spirit.

Visitors can stay updated, access the daily program, and register for events through the Pearling Path website at www.pearlingpath.bh, and via the Culture Authority’s social media accounts @CultureBah and @pearlingpath.

The festival will be open to visitors Sunday through Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Thursday through Saturday from 5:00 PM to midnight.
