German Ambassador Explores Bahrain’s Sustainable Housing Projects

His Excellency Henning Simon, German Ambassador to Bahrain, conducted a field visit to housing projects in Salman City to learn about the Kingdom’s experience in social housing.
Accompanied by H.E. Fatima Al-Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing, the Ambassador toured the Visitors Center and the Al Naseem Neighborhood (a publicprivate partnership project).
He was briefed on Bahrain’s housing history and modern projects focusing on high-quality urban design and sustainability. The Ambassador praised Bahrain’s efforts, noting the advanced level of projects and expressed Germany’s interest in exchanging expertise in housing and urban planning.
