GCC Admissions Deans Meet in Manama

The 21st meeting of deans of admission and registration from GCC universities and higher education institutions commenced today in Manama, hosted by the Arabian Gulf University (AGU) at the Wyndham Grand Hotel. The meeting was attended by H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, aimed at strengthening academic cooperation. AGU President Dr. Saad bin Saud Al-Fuhaid affirmed the meeting embodies Gulf integration.
Discussions focused on developing admission and registration mechanisms, enhancing university program marketing, reviewing evaluation standards, and formulating recommendations to improve joint Gulf action and increase international university rankings. The deans reviewed AGU’s experience in admitting Gulf students and discussed unified guidelines for student exchange.
