Members of Parliament have issued an official statement supporting the recent measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other brotherly countries in the region against Iran.

“The Council of Representatives has affirmed its support to the Government of Bahrain’s decision on severing diplomatic relations with Iran, hailing similar decision of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on severing its diplomatic relations with Iran, which has been supporting terrorism and exporting it to the countries of the GCC,” the statement read.

It also stressed that “the council strongly condemns Iran’s blatant interference in the interior affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, GCC countries and the region, as well as its continuing attempts to destabilise their security and stability.”
