Bahrain’s National Revenue Agency Wins “Public Sector Cyber Vision” Award at AICS 2025
In a significant achievement reflecting its commitment to information security and cybersecurity, the National Revenue Agency (NRA) has been awarded the “Public Sector Cyber Vision” prize. The award was presented during the cybersecurity awards ceremony held on the sidelines of the third Arab International Cybersecurity Conference & Exhibition (AICS 2025), organised by the National Cybersecurity Centre in collaboration with the global DEF CON Conference, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.
The recognition comes in appreciation of the NRA’s outstanding efforts to strengthen its information protection framework, implement global best practices and standards in cybersecurity, and ensure the safety and privacy of data in an increasingly digital environment.
On the occasion, Rana Ibrahim Faqihi, Chief Executive Officer of the NRA, expressed pride in the achievement, highlighting that information security is a strategic priority for the agency. She noted that it forms a core part of the NRA’s digital transformation vision, enabling the delivery of secure and reliable services. Faqihi also extended her gratitude to all teams involved, praising their high competence, proactive efforts, and continued commitment to enhancing the agency’s cybersecurity capabilities, reinforcing Bahrain’s drive toward a trusted, resilient, and advanced digital ecosystem.
