Ambassador to the U.S. Joins Dialogue at Washington Prosperity Summit
Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Ambassador to the United States, participated in the Washington Prosperity Summit.
Organized by the Polaris National Security Foundation in partnership with the N7 Foundation, the Summit brought together members of the current U.S. administration, legislators from both parties, foreign officials, and senior business leaders from the U.S. and the Middle East.
During a dialogue session on enhancing defense cooperation, the Ambassador reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to regional peace, stability, and international cooperation, highlighting its role as a reliable partner of the U.S. He emphasized the strong bilateral ties across defense, security, economy, and technology, as well as ongoing collaboration to support regional and global security and prosperity.
Shaikh Abdullah also highlighted the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) as a landmark in Bahraini-American relations, strengthening cooperation in defense, economic resilience, and technological advancement. He noted the United Kingdom’s recent accession to the agreement as a testament to the growing depth of strategic alliances aimed at enhancing regional security and stability.
The session featured U.S. Senator Joni Ernst and Joe Musselman, founder of Bravo Victor Ventur Capital, and was moderated by Ambassador Nathan Sales, former U.S. Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights, and Distinguished Fellow for Middle East Programs at the Atlantic Council.
