Bahrain Coast Guard Graduates First Batch of Female Maritime Science Officers

Bahrain Coast Guard Command, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Women’s Police, celebrated the graduation of the first batch of female police officers from the specialized Maritime Science course on November 7, 2025. The pioneering course—the first of its kind for women in Bahrain—equipped the trainees from the Special Security Force, Royal Police Academy, and Ports Security with advanced skills in maritime navigation, search and rescue, and emergency response.
Major General Mona Abdulrahim and Sheikha Mashael bint Khalifa Al Khalifa attended the ceremony, highlighting the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to empowering women in specialized security fields.
