HM King Hamad Attends Sharm El-Sheikh Summit on Gaza Ceasefire

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, today took part in the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit held to mark the signing of an agreement ending the war in Gaza. The summit brought together Their Majesties, Highnesses, and Excellencies — leaders, presidents, and heads of government from friendly and brotherly nations — in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh.

Upon arrival at the summit venue, His Majesty the King was warmly received by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, who welcomed His Majesty and expressed appreciation for his participation in this landmark event.

During the summit, His Majesty King Hamad, alongside participating world leaders, witnessed the signing of the Comprehensive Gaza Agreement, aimed at consolidating peace and stability in the region. The agreement was signed by U.S. President Donald Trump, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit represents a major diplomatic milestone in advancing regional peace efforts and ending the long-standing conflict in Gaza.
