Information Minister hails The Daily Tribune’s role in shaping Bahrain’s media voice
His Excellency Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, visited The Daily Tribune headquarters, where he met Captain Mahmood Yousif Al Mahmood, Editor-in-Chief, and P. Unnikrishnan, Chairman of the Management Board.
H.E. Dr. Al Noaimi commended the newspaper’s role in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s media landscape through its coverage of local, regional, and international affairs, and its contribution to raising public awareness and highlighting Bahrain’s achievements under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Information Minister noted that the presence of The Daily Tribune among Bahrain’s English-language newspapers enhances media diversity and supports the Kingdom’s ability to communicate its message at home and abroad. H.E. toured the editorial departments, commending the professionalism of the staff and wishing the newspaper continued success.
His Excellency the Minister was accompanied in the tour by senior officials, including Abdulrahman Khalid Al Midfaa, Assistant Undersecretary for News and Regulatory Affairs; Mariam Bukamal, Development Advisor at the Ministry of Information; Shaikh Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Director of Regulatory Affairs; and Maryam Hadi, Head of Media at the Minister of Information’s Office.
