Husain Ahmed Al Shuail, Undersecretary for Civil Aviation Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, with the ICAO Council President Certificate, one of the most prestigious international distinctions in civil aviation, in recognition of Bahrain’s progress in advancing aviation safety and security.
The award was presented during the opening session of the 42nd Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Canada. Commenting on the achievement, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, said the recognition reflects the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the government’s ongoing support under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He emphasized that the award underscores Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening civil aviation, enhancing safety and security standards, and aligning with international best practices.
