Bahrain Launches “Tebyan” Project to Nurture Prophetic Traditions Among Youth
The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Awqaf has launched the “Tebyan for the Care of the Prophetic Sunnah” project across all licensed youth care centers. The initiative aims to strengthen the awareness of the Prophet’s teachings among young generations, embedding authentic Islamic values in their daily lives.
Dr. Ali Amin Al-Rais, Director of the Department of Religious Affairs at the Ministry, explained that the project is part of a strategic effort to support the educational outcomes of youth centers. “Through a structured and scholarly approach, the program connects young people with the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, forming a foundation for building balanced and socially responsible Muslim personalities,” he said.
The Tebyan project offers a comprehensive program that blends knowledge with practical behavior. It features fifty selected Hadiths tailored to different age groups, simple explanations of key terms, and activities that link Prophetic values to real-life situations, helping students internalize these teachings in their daily conduct.
The program focuses on three main areas: daily and nightly supplications, etiquette and manners, and concepts of good citizenship. These areas are designed to meet the intellectual and behavioral needs of young participants. A dedicated guide for instructors outlines clear behavioral objectives, practical activities that consider individual differences, and the use of digital tools and AI applications to enhance engagement and participation.
Dr. Al-Rais noted that the program will run in six-month cycles, with 24 hours of guidance and training per cycle. The Department of Religious Affairs will monitor progress through regular field reports, evaluate the program’s impact, and continuously work on its development.
“Instilling the teachings of the Sunnah in young minds using a contemporary approach is a true investment in shaping a generation with strong identity, balanced behavior, and the ability to contribute positively to society,” he added.
