Highlighting the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza, including shortages of food, water, medicine, and essential services, Al Zayani emphasized the shared duty to support the right of Gazans to life, freedom, and dignity. He called for unified diplomatic action, stronger engagement with the United Nations and the UN Security Council, adherence to international humanitarian law, the immediate release of hostages and detainees, and facilitation of relief efforts.

The minister praised the efforts of the ministerial committee formed by the Arab-Islamic Summit, and commended Saudi Arabia for leading international efforts toward a two-state solution. He also voiced support for Qatari, Egyptian, and American mediation aimed at achieving a permanent ceasefire and securing the release of hostages, as well as Egypt’s initiatives for recovery and reconstruction in Gaza.

Al Zayani affirmed that Bahrain, through its upcoming non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council (2026–2027), will place the Palestinian issue at the forefront of its priorities, ensuring the fairness of the cause is highlighted internationally. He reiterated Bahrain’s full commitment to supporting the Palestinian people in their pursuit of legitimate rights and an end to the occupation.
