Traffic Alert: Road Closures in Manama for Bridge Construction
The Ministry of Works, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior (@moi_bahrain), has announced temporary road closures in Manama as part of ongoing construction of the left-turn bridge from Janabiya Street to Shaikh Isa bin Salman Highway.
Phase 1: Work will start on Sunday, 24 August 2025, for 24 hours. Two lanes coming from King Fahd Causeway toward Manama will be closed, while two lanes will remain open for traffic.
Phase 2: Work will continue on Monday, 25 August 2025, for 24 hours. The road connecting Janabiya Street to Shaikh Isa bin Salman Highway, for travelers coming from Budaiya toward Manama, will be fully closed. Traffic will be diverted to Al Mazari’ Street.
Motorists are advised to follow traffic signs and plan their routes accordingly to avoid delays. Further updates will be provided as work progresses.
