Bahrain blessed with HM the King’s leadership: PM

Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that the Kingdom of Bahrain was blessed with the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, whose sound visions, he said, brought about milestone achievements for the country.

“HM King Hamad continued the march spearheaded by the rulers of Bahrain, and has been able to build on their achievements and achieve more successes in various fields,” Prince Khalifa remarked during his meeting with a number of MPs and Shura Council members, led by the Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.

HRH Premier noted that the continuous increase in the number of investment and real estate projects in the Kingdom reflects the extent of investors’ confidence in its economic atmosphere.

“Bahrain has been and will remain an open country, and we will not be affected by attempts by some parties to take advantage of this openness to spread anarchy and destruction,” Prince Khalifa said. “The people of Bahrain have always been stronger than challenges. We have overcome all thanks to the cohesion between the leadership and the people, as well as the awareness of Bahrainis and their rallying together for the sake of maintaining national security.”

HRH the Prime Minister stressed that in the coming period, the focus would be on ways to develop and strengthen the national economy. “This should be carried out through continuous review of laws and legislation to make them more flexible and able to attract investments in various fields,” HRH Premier observed.

Prince Khalifa called for consolidating cooperation between the Legislative and Executive branches for the best interests of the nation and the citizens, stressing the importance of strengthening “serious” cooperation between the Representatives and Shura councils in issues related to enhancing the development process. “Some parties seek to drag us to endless conflicts in order to take control over our capabilities and destroy the gains attained by our citizens over decades,” HRH Premier warned.
