Over 1,800 Caught in Ongoing Crackdown on Illegal Workers and Residency Violations

The General Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Forensic Science has stepped up its efforts to tackle illegal labor and residency violations across the Kingdom.
Since the start of this year, authorities have apprehended 1,844 individuals for violating residency regulations. In addition, 156 individuals were taken into custody in connection with various security-related cases.
The intensified campaign reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to maintaining public order, ensuring legal compliance, and protecting the rights and safety of all residents.
Officials have stressed the importance of following residency and labor laws and called on the public to report any suspicious activities through the proper channels. The campaign is expected to continue in coordination with other relevant authorities.
