Bahrain’s Diplomatic Academy Eyes Stronger Training Programs

Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, who also serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, chaired the academy’s third board meeting for the 2024–2025 academic year. The meeting was held virtually and attended by esteemed members of the board.

Dr. Al Zayani welcomed the members and praised the academy’s ongoing efforts in training and preparing diplomats and administrative staff from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He highlighted the academy’s commitment to equipping future diplomats with the skills and knowledge needed to serve Bahrain at the highest levels.

He also expressed appreciation for the dedication shown by the board members in supporting the academy’s academic and training programs, adding that the meeting reflects a strong commitment to continue building on past achievements in developing diplomatic talent.

Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Academy, also extended her thanks to the board and the Minister for their support. She reaffirmed the academy’s mission to prepare well-qualified diplomats who can represent Bahrain with excellence and uphold the Kingdom’s values on the global stage.

During the meeting, members reviewed training statistics for 2025, discussed upcoming language services and training programs, and addressed several agenda items related to the academy’s future plans.
