HRH Crown Prince Meets Thai Prime Minister During Malaysia Visit

In a continued effort to strengthen regional ties and promote bilateral cooperation, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, met with Her Excellency Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, on the sidelines of his official visit to Malaysia.
During the meeting, held in Kuala Lumpur, both leaders reviewed the longstanding relations between Bahrain and Thailand and discussed opportunities to expand cooperation across various fields, including trade, investment, tourism, and healthcare.
His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of fostering greater economic and diplomatic collaboration between the Gulf and ASEAN regions, noting the shared vision of both countries for regional development and global engagement.
For her part, Prime Minister Shinawatra welcomed HRH’s visit to Southeast Asia and expressed Thailand’s keenness to deepen ties with Bahrain, commending the Kingdom’s strategic role in regional stability and economic growth.
The meeting also touched on mutual support within international forums and the potential for joint initiatives that align with both nations’ development agendas.
