Bahrain takes part in global space symposium

The National Space Science Authority (NSSA) recently took part in a pivotal symposium organised by Space News and Secure World, titled “The Views of the United States of America and Japan on Space Sustainability.”
This event marked a significant step in global efforts to ensure the sustainability of activities in outer space.
Distinguished key not e speakers from NASA, JAXA, and prominent industry leaders convened to engage in constructive dialogues addressing the challenges and priorities of space sustainability.
Discussions underscored the critical importance of international cooperation among nations to foster sustainable practices in space exploration and the development of the space industry.
Emphasis was placed on adhering to the principles outlined in the five international space treaties.
Reflecting on the agency’s participation in the symposium, Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Al Asiri, CEO of the NSSA, remarked, “The symposium aimed to establish foundational relations among nations active in space endeavors.
It featured insightful examples highlighting the dedicated efforts of American and Japanese space agencies in promoting sustainability in space activities.”
