London: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly planning to return to the UK later this month, more than six years after standing down as senior working royals and moving to California. The pair is expected to set up a private, non-royal house in Britain for an extended  period.

Their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, are also set to relocate with them and begin attending a British school in September. The family plans to keep their residences in California and Portugal while relocating to Britain.

According to reports, they will remain private members of the royal family, with no plans to take on official roles or accept public funding.

The return coincides with signs of better relations between Harry and his father, King Charles III. The King was reportedly informed of the plans and is expected to welcome the chance to spend more time with his grandkids. However, tensions with Prince William are believed to persist, making the Sussexes' return a closely watched event in the royal family.
