Qatar Toy Festival Draws Record 148,000 Visitors
Month-long event concludes with strong GCC turnout and expanded family entertainment
The fourth edition of the Qatar Toy Festival has concluded after attracting more than 148,000 visitors, its highest attendance since the festival began.
Held for a month at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC), the festival brought together families from across the GCC under the theme “More to Imagine, A Whole World of Fun.”
Organised by Qatar Calendar in collaboration with Spacetoon Group as part of Visit Qatar’s Hala Summer campaign, the festival featured seven themed zones, 63 international brands, 33 activity areas and 480 stage shows across four halls covering about 23,264 square metres.
Visitors from Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE made up the festival’s top three nationalities, highlighting its growing appeal as a regional family attraction.
The accompanying QTF Summer Camp 2026 welcomed 417 children aged four to 12, offering 76 workshop tracks covering STEM, chemistry, art, engineering, robotics and Arabic over four weeks.
The closing ceremony featured a festival highlights video, an interactive MC segment, a talk by Rateel AlShehri, a dance performance by the festival mascots and a colourful balloon drop.
Ahmed Al-Binali, Director of Festivals and Events at Visit Qatar, said the record attendance reflected the festival’s growing popularity and Qatar’s efforts to provide innovative family-focused experiences.
The Qatar Toy Festival is part of Visit Qatar’s year-round events programme aimed at attracting GCC and international visitors and strengthening Qatar’s position as a family tourism destination.
