Pakistan PM Begins Three-Day Saudi Visit

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Saudi Arabia for a three-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and discussing regional developments.
PM Sharif was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah by Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
He is accompanied by Field Marshal and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with other senior officials.
During the visit, Sharif is expected to meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss expanding cooperation between the two countries and review regional and international developments.
The visit comes as Pakistan continues diplomatic efforts to support dialogue between the United States and Iran, with recent reports indicating progress in negotiations despite remaining differences over maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz.
