Indian-Origin Astronaut Anil Menon Arrives at International Space Station

Houston: NASA astronaut Anil Menon has arrived at the International Space Station aboard the Soyuz MS-29 spacecraft along with Roscosmos cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov and Anna Kikina.
The trio launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan and docked with the orbiting laboratory about three hours later, increasing the station's crew to 10 members for the next two weeks.
During his mission, Menon will conduct scientific research on semiconductor manufacturing, artificial intelligence-assisted medical technology and other experiments aimed at supporting future human space exploration and improving life on Earth.
The mission is part of Expedition 74, with Menon expected to contribute to a range of studies in microgravity that could benefit future long-duration space missions and lead to advances in healthcare and technology on Earth.
