CENTCOM Hits Dozens of Iranian Military Targets

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) carried out another wave of military strikes against Iran late Monday, targeting dozens of military sites near the Strait of Hormuz and along Iran’s coastline.
According to CENTCOM, U.S. fighter jets, drones and naval vessels launched precision-guided munitions during a seven-hour operation. The strikes hit Iranian missile and drone positions, naval capabilities and coastal defense systems, with the stated aim of reducing Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping and civilian vessels in the strategic waterway.
The operation coincided with the resumption of a U.S. naval blockade on vessels traveling to and from Iranian ports and coastal areas.
CENTCOM said U.S. forces remain on high alert and are prepared to carry out further operations as directed by the Commander in Chief.
