Russia slams NATO's Ukraine pledges as 'irresponsible'

Moscow: Russia criticised NATO's latest plans to expand military support for Ukraine on Thursday, calling them "irresponsible" and accused the organization of prolonging the conflict.
The Kremlin said that extra military assistance and deeper coordination between NATO and Kyiv will heighten tensions and impede efforts toward a peaceful conclusion. Moscow claimed that continuous Western weapons supply urge Ukraine to continue fighting rather than engage in diplomacy.
The words came as NATO leaders reiterated their long-term support for Ukraine, which included increased military aid and security cooperation. Russia has consistently warned that more Western participation in the crisis risks escalation.
