UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan joined world leaders at the G7 Summit in Évian-les-Bains, France, where discussions focused on global economic challenges, regional stability, energy security, and international cooperation.

The summit, hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron, brings together leaders of the Group of Seven nations alongside invited heads of state and government from key partner countries across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

During the summit, Sheikh Mohamed took part in a working lunch attended by G7 leaders and representatives from the Middle East. The discussions addressed a range of international issues, including geopolitical developments, economic growth, sustainable development, and efforts to strengthen global partnerships.

On the sidelines of the gathering, the UAE President held meetings with several world leaders, including US President Donald Trump, to discuss strategic cooperation and ways to further enhance bilateral relations in support of shared interests.

Sheikh Mohamed also met with European and regional leaders, reaffirming the UAE’s commitment to dialogue, diplomacy, and international collaboration in addressing common global challenges.

The summit provided an opportunity for leaders to exchange views on pressing international developments and explore avenues for strengthening cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, technology, energy transition, and climate action.

The UAE’s participation reflects its growing role as a key international partner and its continued efforts to promote stability, sustainable development, and constructive engagement on regional and global issues.

The G7 Summit, which runs from June 15 to 17, serves as a platform for world leaders to discuss major economic and political challenges and coordinate responses to issues affecting the international community.
