Weekly toll rises in Gaza and West Bank

Gaza reports 38 deaths and over 200 injuries in one week

Israeli and Palestinian casualties and incidents of violence have continued across Gaza and the West Bank, according to figures covering the period from 2 to 8 June 2026.

The reported data outlines a further rise in fatalities, injuries, arrests, and settlement-related incidents amid ongoing conflict.

Between 7 October 2023 and 8 June 2026, the total number of reported incidents is said to have reached 380,975, including 74,143 people killed and 183,905 injured.

Gaza deaths and injuries last week

In the Gaza Strip, 38 Palestinians were killed over the past week, with one additional body recovered. A further 204 people were reported injured.

These figures add to the wider toll in the territory as hostilities continue, with emergency services operating under difficult conditions.

West Bank fatalities and arrests

In the occupied West Bank, two Palestinians were killed and 23 others injured during the same period.

Among those killed was an infant in Hebron. Two children were injured after one was struck by a military vehicle, while four children were also among those arrested.

Overall, 41 deaths and 227 injuries were recorded across Palestinian territories during the reporting period.

Military incursions and detentions

Israeli military forces carried out 299 incursions into West Bank areas over seven days, during which 175 Palestinians were detained, according to the figures.

The operations formed part of ongoing military activity across multiple locations in the territory.

Settler violence and settlement activity

The report documented 141 incidents of settler-related violence during the week.

In addition, 24 settlement-related activities were recorded over the same period, indicating continued expansion and activity in the occupied West Bank.
