His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable of condolences to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, following the passing of Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry.
His Majesty expressed sincere sympathy and extended condolences to the Amir and the bereaved family during their time of grief.
In a separate message, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also conveyed his condolences to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani over the passing of the former Qatari minister.
