Britain's Princess Catherine to make official visit to Italy

LONDON: Princess Catherine is set to embark on her first official overseas visit since her cancer diagnosis, traveling to Italy next week. The Princess of Wales will visit Reggio Emilia in northern Italy to focus on her long-standing work in early years child development.
Kensington Palace announced that the visit will center on the ‘Reggio Emilia Approach,’ an educational philosophy that emphasizes a child's potential for self-development through nature and human relationships.
The Princess, who founded the Centre for Early Childhood in 2021, is eager to see how these environments support growth firsthand.
After announcing she was in remission in January 2025, Catherine has been gradually returning to her royal duties. This significant two-day trip coincides with the third anniversary of King Charles III’s coronation, marked by celebrations and a 62-gun salute in London.
