Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, at Bayan Palace on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed issues related to joint Gulf cooperation and ongoing efforts to advance the work of the six-member bloc, according to a statement.

The discussions focused on initiatives aimed at strengthening the GCC’s progress in line with the directives of the leaders of member states, with an emphasis on achieving greater prosperity, stability, and development across the region.

The meeting comes amid continued coordination among Gulf states on political, economic, and security cooperation frameworks under the GCC, which includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
