Saudi Crown Prince, Chinese President discuss regional developments
Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, held a phone call with Xi Jinping, President of the China.
During the call, both leaders reviewed the strong strategic partnership between their countries and discussed ways to further enhance cooperation across multiple sectors.
They also exchanged views on recent regional developments and their security and economic implications at both regional and global levels. Discussions focused on efforts to reduce tensions and strengthen stability, particularly in relation to maritime security and its impact on global supply chains.
President Xi highlighted the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open to international navigation, stressing its significance for regional interests and global economic stability.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to supporting efforts that promote peace, security, and sustainable development in the region.
