Emirates completes more than 40 Travel Rehearsals for youth with autism globally, easing travel anxiety for more than 250 families
Emirates has expanded its Travel Rehearsal programme across more than 40 cities globally, helping over 250 families prepare children and young adults with autism for air travel.
The initiative allows participants to practice key airport procedures, including check-in, security, and boarding, helping reduce anxiety and build confidence before actual flights. Following its success in Dubai, the programme has been rolled out in cities such as London, Sydney, and Toronto.
More than 35,000 Emirates staff have been trained to support neurodiverse passengers, working closely with airports and community organisations to ensure a smooth experience.
The airline said it will continue expanding the initiative in 2026, reinforcing its commitment to making travel more inclusive and accessible for all.
