U.S. Embassy in Kuwait closes until further notice

Kuwait: The U.S. Embassy in Kuwait has announced that it will remain closed until further notice due to ongoing regional tensions.
In a security alert issued on Tuesday, the embassy said that all regular and emergency consular appointments have been cancelled and that an update will be shared once operations return to normal.
The embassy advised US citizens in the Kuwait to seek local emergency assistance by dialing 112.
For consular support, affected individuals have been directed to contact the U.S. Department of State – Bureau of Consular Affairs through its emergency helplines at +1-888-407-4747 or +1-202-501-4444.
The closure comes as regional security conditions remain volatile, prompting heightened precautions at diplomatic missions across the area.
