Israel Launches Simultaneous Strikes on Tehran and Beirut
Jerusalem: Israel’s military said on Tuesday it had begun simultaneous airstrikes targeting military objectives in Tehran and Beirut, escalating its ongoing offensive.
“The Israeli Air Force has begun targeted strikes against military objectives of the Iranian regime and the Hezbollah terrorist organization,” the military said in a statement.
Israeli forces continued operations in both capitals, including a strike reported on Iran’s state broadcaster. Evacuation warnings were also issued for parts of southern Lebanon ahead of further strikes.
The latest attacks come as the reported death toll in Iran and Lebanon has surpassed 600 amid the escalating conflict.
