UAE Reports Drone Interceptions in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah

Abu Dhabi/Dubai/Ras Al Khaimah: Authorities across the UAE reported air defence interception operations in multiple emirates, with minor damage recorded but no injuries.
In Abu Dhabi, officials said shrapnel from intercepted unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) fell on a warehouse in the IKD area and a commercial facility, causing limited damage without casualties, according to the Abu Dhabi Media Office.
In Dubai, the Dubai Media Office confirmed that sounds heard in various parts of the emirate were the result of air defence interception operations, adding that relevant teams continue to monitor the situation to ensure public safety.
Meanwhile, authorities in Ras Al Khaimah responded to an incident in the Al Hamra Village area after debris fell following the successful interception of an Iranian drone. No injuries were reported, the Ras Al Khaimah Government Media Office said.
Officials across the emirates urged residents to rely solely on official sources for information and to refrain from spreading rumours or unverified reports.
