More blasts in Dubai, Doha and Manama
Fresh explosions were reported across Gulf cities on Sunday morning, including Dubai, Doha, and Manama, after Iran launched retaliatory strikes in response to U.S. and Israeli attacks.
Reporters from Agence France-Presse (AFP) said they heard blasts in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Doha in Qatar, and Manama in Bahrain.
In Doha, thick black smoke was seen rising into the clear morning sky following several powerful explosions across the Qatari capital, according to an AFP journalist. The smoke was visible over the southern part of the city after Iran targeted U.S. military bases in Gulf states, responding to a large-scale U.S. and Israeli strike that reportedly killed Iranian leader Ali Khamenei.
