Over 150 US Aircraft Moved Amid Iran Tensions

Satellite images and flight tracking data show that the United States has rapidly increased its military presence near Iran in recent days, moving over 150 military aircraft to bases in Europe and the Middle East, according to a report by The Washington Post.

The newspaper noted that this surge in aircraft comes after the second round of US-Iran nuclear talks ended without an agreement. The current scale of US forces in the region is among the largest seen in more than two decades.

The reinforcements include transport and cargo planes, refueling aircraft, and modern fighter jets. Some of these aircraft are stationed at European and Middle Eastern airbases, while the US aircraft carriers USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Gerald Ford remain deployed in nearby regional waters.

US defense officials confirmed the increased military flow but did not disclose operational details or specific objectives. Analysts suggest these moves are part of preparations for potential contingencies or deterrence, without signaling direct military intentions.
