UK Considers Removing Prince Andrew from Succession
London: The UK government is considering legislation to remove Prince Andrew from the royal line of succession, preventing him from ever becoming King. Defence Minister Luke Pollard said ministers are in talks with Buckingham Palace over the proposal. Andrew, brother of Charles III, remains eighth in line despite being stripped of his titles. Thames Valley Police continue investigating Andrew, who denies wrongdoing. Any change would require an Act of Parliament and Commonwealth approval.
