Two Years On: Families Honor Victims of October 7 Attack at Nova Festival Site
Families of victims gathered at the Nova music festival site in southern Israel on Tuesday to mark two years since the deadly October 7, 2023 attack carried out by Palestinian militants.
At dawn, relatives and friends held a minute of silence at 6:29 a.m. (0329 GMT) — the exact time the assault began — paying tribute to those who lost their lives during the tragic event.
The open field in Re’im, once a venue for celebration, has since been turned into a memorial honoring the hundreds of young people killed or missing in the attack.
The commemoration stood as a poignant reminder of the deep scars left by the violence and the enduring efforts of families to preserve the memory of their loved ones.
