Hamas Reviewing Trump’s Gaza Peace Proposal, Source Says

A Palestinian source close to Hamas told AFP on Tuesday that the group is currently reviewing a proposal from US President Donald Trump aimed at ending the conflict in Gaza, which has the backing of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“Hamas has begun a series of consultations within its political and military leaderships, both inside Palestine and abroad,” the source, who requested anonymity, said.
“The movement is open to all proposals and will present a national response that reflects both Hamas and the broader resistance factions,” the source added.
The discussions are expected to take several days, given the challenges the leadership faces in communicating and moving freely, particularly following the recent Israeli operations in Doha.
Another Palestinian source also confirmed that Hamas is examining Trump’s plan.
